Dog owners from all over Switzerland report what they notice on their walks.
Over 14'000 dog waste bins, so you never have to search for long.
Choose the place, add a photo if you like and send: all dog owners nearby are warned straight away. You can report anywhere in Switzerland, even a place where you aren't right now, or a festival that only takes place on Saturday.
You decide how long the warning stays visible. After that, others keep it up to date: whoever was there confirms it or reports that the hazard is over.
Two hazards you rarely see coming: a shooting range behind the edge of the forest and a pasture guarded by livestock guardian dogs. With Schorsch you know before you head out.
Many dogs panic at the sound of gunfire. Schorsch knows over 1'600 shooting ranges and 80 military firing ranges all over Switzerland and shows you where there is shooting today. If it's about to start near you, you get a message in good time.
Green: No shooting today. You can just head out.
Orange: Shooting today. You can see exactly when.
Red: Shooting is going on right now. Take a different route today.
They defend their herd and confront anyone who gets too close, including your dog on the lead. Schorsch shows you over 600 pastures, so you know whether your route passes one.
Green: There are no dogs on the pasture at the moment.
Orange: The dogs are on duty. Better take a different path.
If you come close to a guarded pasture, Schorsch warns you.
Over 14'000 dog waste bins are on the map. If one is missing, you add it in a minute. If one is no longer there, you report it. And if something isn't right or a photo is missing, you simply complete the entry yourself.

Schorsch is a solo project from Switzerland. It all started with an everyday frustration: suddenly walking into shooting noise without knowing how long it would last or whether the next path would be quieter. The next question soon followed: and who tells me where poison bait is lying?
That turned into a hazard radar that lives from its community: the more dog owners join in, the safer every walk becomes. And along the way, everyone else who likes being outdoors benefits too.
You have a say in what comes next: in the app you see which ideas are lined up and vote for the ones you want most. Many of today's features go back to wishes like these.
